Climate Action Summary
OutWellness commits to supporting the global ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C. As a small single-site wellness center our footprint is modest, but we believe every business shares responsibility for climate action — and the communities we serve are disproportionately affected by climate impacts.
Our current targets:
- Establish a baseline of our facility’s energy use and waste;
- Reduce electricity use by 10% against that baseline within two years;
- Switch to a renewable electricity plan;
- Divert at least half of our facility waste from landfill; and
- Apply environmental criteria to every material purchasing decision.
Our full climate action plan is reviewed at least every three years.
