Welcome to Your Inclusive Wellness Haven
Movement Support That Meets You Where You Are
Personal training at OutWellness is built on the understanding that every body, and every relationship with movement, is different.
Some folks arrive excited to explore movement for the first time. Others are returning after a long break, recovering from injury, adjusting to body changes, or wanting more support and structure in their routine. All movement is valid, and there is no one right way to begin.
You might be:
- curious about what movement feels good for your body,
- going to the gym for the first time,
- coming back to exercise after time away,
- looking to build strength or increase your personal records,
- navigating your gender experience and seeking affirming movement,
- or starting or adjusting to HRT and wanting exercises tailored to you.
Achieve Your Fitness Goals with Confidence
LGBTQ+ Personal Training Built Around Real Life
GOutWellness believes in a health at every size approach to movement. That means personal training here is not centered on weight loss or changing the way your body looks. Instead, the focus is on helping you move in ways that feel supportive, sustainable, and meaningful in your everyday life.
For some people, that means having the energy to play with their kids. For others, it means preparing for a big trip, feeling stronger on long walks with their dog, understanding how movement changes as chronic pain flares, or simply discovering movement that feels joyful.
Movement looks different for everyone, and that’s exactly how it should be. If you’re looking for a queer personal trainer in Austin who offers affirming, individualized support, this space is designed for you.

Compassionate Care for Your Unique Journey
If Traditional Gyms Haven’t Felt Right
You’re not the only one.
Many people look for a queer or LGBTQ+ personal trainer in Austin because traditional gyms can feel intimidating or focused on goals that don’t reflect their values. Others are simply looking for a space that feels welcoming or a more inclusive gym environment overall.
At OutWellness, personal training is designed differently.
Sessions are collaborative, affirming, and built around the goals that matter to you. There’s no pressure to meet a certain aesthetic or perform in a certain way, just thoughtful support as you explore what feels good for your body.

Meet Your Trainers
Many clients specifically seek out a trans-affirming personal trainer, and Syd and Sienna, licensed physical therapists, bring experience supporting trans and gender-diverse clients.
That means every session benefits from advanced knowledge of movement mechanics, injury prevention and recovery, orthopedic health, gender-affirming care, and chronic pain management.
Having trainers who are also physical therapists allows each session to be tailored with an extra level of care and awareness, whether you’re new to movement, working through an injury, or building long-term strength.

What Your Sessions Include
Personal training sessions are 60 minutes, in person, and fully personalized to your goals and comfort level. You’ll receive one-on-one coaching with Syd or Sienna, guidance on form and safe movement patterns, a plan tailored to your needs, and ongoing adjustments as your goals evolve.
For those who want more consistent support, 4-session and 8-session packages also include a monthly gym membership, allowing you to use the OutWellness space whenever it works for you. The gym is open Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 8 PM. Members reserve time through the signup on the website, which keeps the space from getting too full so your experience stays comfortable. All group classes are included under the gym membership at no additional cost.
Equipment includes: 2 squat racks (each with a pull-up bar and bench), barbells in 15, 35, and 45 lb options, plates from 1.25 to 55 lbs, dumbbells 5 to 100 lbs, kettlebells 9 to 72 lbs, 2 cable machines, resistance bands, a treadmill, a rowing machine, and an assault bike.
Guests are welcome on a $10 day-pass basis. Frequency for personal training sessions is flexible, which means you can build a rhythm that works for your life.
What to Expect
The OutWellness space is always locked, and when you arrive, your trainer will meet you at the door. Once inside, you’ll find a welcoming waiting area to your left with free community resources and a Banned Book Library. The gym is to your right. Personal training sessions take place inside the gym. When activities happen in the open gym, there are never more than four other members present at a time. If you have specific needs around privacy or environment, reach out ahead of time and the team is happy to accommodate to the best of their ability.
Parking
There are three free parking options: a parking lot on one side of the building, a dirt lot on the other side, and free street parking along the block. All are easy to access.

What Clients Say
During our extended weekend trip, we were able to have a private class session with Syd. Syd really customized our session, where we got to choose the music and determine the focus of the workout. While we were exercising, Syd gave us options for each set and was very responsive to correct our form. [Would] go back!”
